Summer Updates! July 21, 2023

Hello my Dance friends :)

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Summer thus far. We have a few updates for you all, but I just couldn't wait until August to send out the Newsletter, so you're getting it a bit early :)

1. New Registration System

At the end of our 2023 season, we made the choice to do a complete re-design of our registration system. As it is currently being built, you cannot log in as you have in the past, but as soon as it is ready, I will send out a blast letting you know, so that you can check it out. We are extremely excited for this update, as it will make things a lot easier for studios wishing to attend showtime events in future, and we all know, easier is better :)

2. Events Are Filling Up!!!

Our new registration system will include the ability to reserve spots for suture seasons, but as it is not up and functional yet, be sure to email me at [email protected] with the name/location of the events you are hoping to attend, as well as the number of dancers/entries you are expecting. We would hate to have people miss an event, so get your reservations in quick!

3. Brand New $3000 Studio Draw!!!

Yup, you read that right. $3000 going directly to one lucky studio! For every 20 entries a studio brings to a Showtime event, they will earn 1 ticket for the draw. As the season goes, we will do weekly (the frequency will depend on the total number of tickets once registrations are in) ticket pulls. Whoever has the final ticket in the hat one the final day will receive the $3000. Will it be you? Who will be our big winner? I am excited to find out!

4. Media Package!

This is an exciting one! Last year we teamed up with Nyshe Media to provide a great photo and video experience. Moving forward into our 2024 season, every dancer who registers will receive access to all their professional photos and videos at no extra charge. These fees will be bakes into our registration fees, and will allow everyone to benefit from Nyshe Medias' incredible work, and will allow them to spend less time selling, and more time focusing on creating even better content for you.

5. Studios! Watch Your Phones :)

As many of you know from our Newsletters last season, Mike (on the Mic) after 25 years running the backstage, has become more involved with the planning and organizing of our events moving forward. He has brought a whole list of potential changes that Showtime could make in order to create a better event experience for you. To ensure that we make the right choices, he will be reaching out to studios individually to ask a series of questions, and get an idea of how we can make everyone's Showtime experience as great as it can be.

Hoping you all have a wonderful sunny Summer :)

Best regards,
- Showtime Family
